new surf tune, the idea came to me after thinking about the football genius Brian Clough, one of his famous quotes was 'the river Trent is lovely, I should know I've been walking on it for the last 18 years' of all our working class British hero's he earned the right to be that cocky and very funny, R.I.P the greatest manager England never had.

The Devils Skank
https://soundcloud.com/pete-armes-1/the-devils-skank-by-django-capone
This is what happens when the Devil plays Ska, my first recording with a trombone, this tune was influenced by playing Ghost Town with the Neville Staple band back in April, I deputised on guitar for a gig in Margate. What a great experience playing with Neville and one of my guitar hero's Roddy Radiation, Mint!!!! I used the diminished chord from Ghost Town, the one referred to as the Devil's Chord.

The Lonely Surfer
This is a new surf track Ive been working on, I love surf instrumental music nearly as much as ska.
My love of surf came about from one of my old bands supporting a fantastic surf band called 'The Surf Creatures' back in the early 1990's, they really inspired me. They used to wear Zorro masks and play amazingly loud, the lead guitarist claimed he was the bastard son of 'Hank Marvin', I was hooked.
